A little history: At 6 I made my first stuffed animal. It was a pink
pony from scraps of pink denim. At 12 I did my first show..."Lovable
Huggables". At 15 I made my first movable bear design and I called
him "Gilmur Rudley" (Rudley was going to be the name of my "future"
horse). I continued attending Art and Craft shows doing about 25 or
30 per year.
In 1991 I took my first booth at a Teddy Bear Show and I have
enjoyed remarkable reception of my bears ever since.
I design in my sleep...no kidding! Also when I have a migraine...I
turn the ideas over in my mind and create and it helps ease the
pain.
I try to use unique items with my bears for special touches. Love
making fancy bows, finding antique trinkets, and assembling the
accessories for my bears.
I just want to thank all of my collectors...their admiration and
friendship for my bears and myself is truly rewarding and a special
part of my life.
